Four passengers received serious injuries when a Tavera car, they were traveling in, skidded off the road and plunged into Dansal Jathi nullah near Assar on Batote Doda highway here today morning . The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK06-7103 was on its way to Jammu from Gundoh when it met with accident. Reports said before landing in the bottom of the gorge, the vehicle collided with several rocks thereby causing grievous injuries to all its occupants.On getting information about the accident, a police team from Assar Police Station immediately swung into action and started rescue operation with the help of locals and health department and shifted all to Community Health Center Assar . The seriously injured were identified as Shafiqa Begum w/o Abdul Rashid r/o Gundoh , Jozifa Rehan d/o Ab rashid r/o Gundoh and Sheryar Zargar s/o Mohd Isaq Zargar r/o Thathri and identity another is not yet ascertained . Their condition was stated to be out of danger when reports last came in.
